Project Description
The NLCSA is an industry-driven, not-for-profit association that takes a leadership role in lowering risk and preventing injury within the construction industry. They share a common purpose to ensure “no harm done” to construction workers in Newfoundland and Labrador.
The Challenge
The NLCSA’s previous website had been built in 2013 and was optimized for the technology and design of the time. But a lot has changed in a decade and the organization was looking for a more modern look and feel, better usability, as well as a better behind-the-scenes editing experience. They also wanted a site that could grow and expand as they developed more educational content for their membership.
The Solution
We switched them from a custom-built solution to WordPress – a platform that would give them the ease and flexibility they wanted without limiting the functionality they needed. We custom-built some sections to integrate with their existing 3rd party training calendar and completely re-built their course registration forms to make them more user-friendly for their members. We added advanced Google Analytics and set up custom goals to track their KPIs to help inform any future content. We also gave them a clean and spacious design that will grow with them for years to come.
They’re thrilled with the results and have fully embraced WordPress and are already planning future edits and new pages they’ll build.
